2. Overview of Our Data Practices

MoShow is a device-first media creation application.

  • Most photo and video processing occurs on your device.
  • We do not require user accounts.
  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact lists.
  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not use User Content to train general-purpose artificial intelligence systems.
  • We do not use User Content to build identity recognition systems.
  • We do not engage in cross-app tracking as defined under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.
  • We do not access or use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA).
  • We collect limited technical and usage information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the App.

3. Information We Collect

A. Media Processing

Photos and videos you import into the App are processed primarily on your device.

Certain features may require temporary transmission of media to cloud infrastructure to perform computational operations such as masking, rendering, or effects processing. Media transmitted for such processing is retained only as necessary to complete the requested operation, subject to short-term technical caching.

We do not provide public hosting of user media.

B. Visual Analysis and Masking

The App may analyze visual characteristics such as objects, regions, facial features, and motion patterns solely to apply creative effects.

These processes are not used to identify individuals or verify identity.

No biometric templates, facial recognition profiles, or persistent identifiers are created or stored for the purpose of identifying specific individuals.

C. Device and Technical Information

We may collect limited technical information including:

  • device type and model
  • operating system version
  • app version
  • country-level location information
  • anonymous device identifiers
  • performance data
  • crash logs

We do not collect precise GPS location data.

Country-level data may be derived from campaign targeting information or aggregated analytics.

D. Analytics and Marketing Measurement

We use analytics and performance monitoring tools to understand App usage and maintain reliability.

We also use attribution tools to measure marketing performance in aggregated form.

SDKs used in the App may include:

  • Google Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, performance)
  • Microsoft AppCenter
  • Microsoft Application Insights
  • ASA.tools (Apple Search Ads attribution)
  • Meta (Facebook) SDK (content sharing and aggregated marketing performance measurement)
  • TikTok SDK (content sharing)
  • OneSignal (push notification delivery)

We do not log or transmit in-app behavioral events to advertising networks for cross-app tracking purposes.

Attribution relies on aggregated reporting mechanisms and platform-provided measurement tools.

Some SDKs may exist within the codebase for testing or evaluation but may not be active in production releases.

E. Transaction Information

If you make a purchase, payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.

We receive confirmation of subscription status but do not collect or store financial account information.

F. Push Notifications

If enabled, we may send push notifications regarding App features or updates.

Push notification tokens may be processed for delivery and engagement measurement.

You may disable notifications through your device settings.

  • operate and maintain the App
  • provide requested functionality
  • measure marketing effectiveness in aggregated form
  • analyze usage trends
  • improve stability and performance
  • detect fraud or abuse
  • comply with legal obligations

We may use operational signals such as render completion status, processing time, crash diagnostics, and feature interactions to improve App performance.

These improvements do not involve training general-purpose artificial intelligence systems using User Content.
